Picking my top 10 was hard, putting them in order from 10 – 1 is almost impossible so in no particular order I bring you!
No 10 is a Golden Sunrise at Avalon Beach this shot was actually taken on the New Years Day 2016.
I entered this image into the Annual Focus Awards. It was pretty happy to have received a Bronze award!
This was taken back in March. I had no idea the Queen Mary 2 would be docked at Circular Quay that morning.
I love the way the bow of the boat is almost the same shape as the sails on the Opera House!
Those of you the know me well! Know that I’m obsessed with Vivid. This year I was only able to go for 5 nights due to work. 🙁
This was my favourite light display on the Sydney Opera House this year!
Myall River Tea Gardens.
This was the first time I had been to Tea Gardens since I was a kid.
Normally I like to explore a new location the day before but with this spot, we didn’t arrive until around 11 pm. All I knew was across the road from our hotel was this lake I had no idea what it looked like or what was on the river. I spent about 10mins doing a Google map search and with the help of my favourite app photopills, I could see a little park that had flat access the waters edge about 100 meters from our hotel and the sun would be coming up over the far side of the river!
I had been wanting to get this shot for a while. This shot was a lot harder to get then it looks.
Trying to get the camera level and keep the bridge straight was a little harder than I originally thought. In my mind, I thought that’s easy just line it up and shot. I still think the bridge is slightly off.
I entered this image also in the Focus Awards and it also received a Bronze award!
This image is a blend of 2 shots 1 for the sky and 1 for the rest.
The fishermen was only there for 15 mins and he caught 2 massive fish and was done for the day.
This image was also entered into the focus awards and revived a bronze also!
Gili Trawangan Island Bali after spending 2 weeks in #Bali it was a relief to get over to this peaceful island with no motorised transport.
NO Horn’s honking every 2 steps! This was taken on our 2nd morning and was only 15 meters from our room!
“Standing on the edge”
This place is one alike to visit on my own and just sit, think and let the world go by!
Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.
This is my most liked image across all social media for the year!
I managed to just squeeze my lens through the gap between the bars and have my tripod do some strange yoga moves!
I really enjoyed this year Vivid Sydney with the other side of the bridge lit. Would be great if both sides of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera house had lights on them!
It was a close call between this and number 2 in taking out my favourite image of 2106.
This image is My Favourite and didn’t even make it into my Best 9 image based on the number of likes on Instagram
This image was taken at the end of October!
Standing all the way up here you could feel the waves crash into the rocks as they exploded above the headland. Make you realise just how small you really are and how powerful Mother Nature can be!
